The Cellar is a real cellar, reached by a flight of stairs under Fullerton's colorful Villa del Sol. Intimate and cozy, the three dining rooms are elegant amid structured beams arches, cave-like walls decorated with wine casks and silver lanterns.  Crystal chandeliers catch the glimmer of heavy monogrammed crystal, silver and imported china, and the bouquet of fresh flowers on each crisply napped table.  Chairs are comfortable in soft velvet; banquettes are upholstered in rich mellow leather, and thick carpets add to the feeling of comfort and ease.

The old-world charm of The Cellar is reflected in the exciting menu.  Founder Louis Schnelli spent time in France, learning the intricacies of nouvelle cuisine, and The Cellar became an early example of light and natural foods.  Zingg has restored the menu to the classics of French cuisine, retaining the healthy aspects of fresh foods and light preparations.

  Cellar Restaurant has a private room that holds up to 20 people, and another area in the wine cellars where wine tasting can be held.
